Looch is a mind entertainer or 'mentalist' who baffles audiences with his adult magic powers. Put the mentalist to the test.

WHO AM I?
Born in the summer of 1980 Looch was a curious child, he was always fascinated by the alternative. By the age of Ten, he had already become one of the youngest Black belts in the country as a student of Shotokan Karate.

The consistent training had programmed Looch to use both his physical and mental skills to overcome whatever life threw at him. It was at the age of 15 that Looch made a decision that would in avertedly change the course of his life. Whilst in America Looch witnessed a magician perform close up, he decided to spend his pocket money on a small book.

Since then Looch has developed many strange and talked about Psychological skills that always leave his audience both entertained and inspired.

This book would influence Looch into becoming a lifelong student of the deceptive arts, although the majority of his teenage years were taken up with sleight of hand, he made a conscious decision to leave behind the traditional aspects of magic to focus on little known and somewhat underground techniques that were years ago associated with the paranormal and supernatural.

Throughout it all, Looch has remained adamant that everything he does is done so through perfectly natural means. This is not Psychic, this is not Magic, This is Looch, welcome...

extensively throughout the UK and performing at numerous events around Europe,

Asia and America entertaining audiences of all ages with their fire artistry, bespoke

shows, Hypnotic colourful UV shows, snake walkabout and unique larger than life

stilted characters and Human statues.

J&H Reynolds performances are recommended for corporate events,parties

(weddings, bar mitzvahs etc), festivals & Promotions, as part ofa large scale show.

Geisha

People are fascinated with these mysterious and timeless beauties. Their Kimononoand parasols have been designed to still amaze in low light environments. Toshiand Yoko are great for ‘walkabout’ and ‘meet and greet entertainment’ or even as part of a stage show they will be sure to have your guests amused as they gracefully perform from time to time short synchronised dances, bringing to your event a touch of ancient Japanese culture.The Geisha have cleverly been designed to come along with their own oriental sounds that have been installed in the kimono if so desired.

Meet Fire & Greet Fire Performance

You may wish book a ‘solo’ performer but if you are wanting to achieve a medium between a show and a ‘freestyle meet n greet’ performance then we would certainly recommend you book us both as we are able to synchronize our movements to create really stunning visuals.

Fire Show

We use contemporary inspiration and the element of fire is presented in a multitude of forms to create a blend of light and dance. Our signature ‘fire dress’ opens the show followed by a hypnotic synchronised performance with poi and a high impact routine with staffs and double staffs.

Glow/UV Performance

UV / Light / Glow shows are spectacularly colourful and hypnotically beautiful. For best effects, this is usually performed in a dark environment. Its a great alternative for any event where the use of fire is inappropriate due to safety restrictions or lack of space.

Living Statues

J&H living statues come in any colour of your choice and available with your own logos / branding artistically applied.

The Oscar statues are available individually or as a pair.

Sparks/Angle Grinding

This shower of sparks is great to add on large choreographed shows as finales and encores! Also a hit in nightclubs.

Poles Apart Stilts Company

Welcome to the unusual world of Ian Harris; director and performer in The Poles Apart stilt walking band, Creator of The Fretful Federation Mandolin Orchestra, performer on classical guitar, Renaissance Lute, musical saw, typewriter, spoons, mandolin, banjo etc....

Poles Aparts also does Pirates, Punch & Judy, 30's Rif Raff, Santa Claus, Soldiers, Victorians (Dead and more brightly coloured), Dogs and Devils, Medieval, Elvis, Insects and Sgt Peppers. The music we play is generally rock 'n' roll, disco, pop, rock and trad jazz, all using the stripped down instrumentation of sousaphone, banjo, percussion and sax, with harmony vocals.

We encourage audience participation will overstretch ourselves to entertain.

There are two options to our performances:

Poles Apart Walkabout Stilt band

Poles Apart stilt band as a live band with 3 part vocal harmonies that is entirely self-contained (ie no PA, stage required etc..) and acoustic. This is great for those occasions that you want us roaming around and able to move flexibly with the occasion.

On Stage Functions band

Poles Apart Stilt band can be on-stage, and amplified (with Seinheiser radio mics for vocals and instruments) as a functions band, either on stilts, with costumes, or tailored to your requirements. We can arrange staging, PA, lighting and technicians.

A functions band with a difference. The skilled musicianship of Poles Apart, but not the same old functions band, but one playing the party classics on the blasphemous instrumentation of sousaphone, banjo, percussion, saxophone(s).
