The Catch
The Catch are a lively, fun loving 7 or 9 piece function band that have provided their own brand of live entertainment at functions, weddings and parties for over a decade and have an enviable reputation for being both totally professional and 100% reliable.
The Catch were formed in the mid 90’s with the sole purpose of providing world class, live entertainment. Based in the heart of Buckinghamshire, England, The Catch are available to perform all over the UK, Europe and beyond.
The aim of The Catch has always been to accurately recreate songs so when played, everyone at the function instantly recognises the hits of artistes such as The Supremes, Aretha Franklin, Jackie Wilson, Chic, Sister Sledge, Kylie, The Scissors Sisters, The Sugarbabes, and many, many more…..
The band is fronted by four vocalists, 3 female and 1 male, all with strong individual lead voices, often joining together to provide stunning four part vocal harmonies. The back line includes:
Guitar, Bass Guitar, Keyboards, Drums, Saxophone plus additional Brass Section and Percussion.
Fully self contained and using high quality sound systems with a spectacular light show, The Catch authentically cover a wide range of `pop` hits from the 60`s right up to the present day and has performed for audiences varying in size ranging from small gatherings up to 10,000 people. No backing tracks are ever used by the band, the sound you hear is completely live, played by professional musicians with an expansive repertoire.

Inferno
Inferno are a 4 piece band based in Central England, UK., playing exciting versions of hit songs of the past 4 decades. They are ace to dance to & are guaranteed to liven up any party or function.
I could write a book and still not be able to express my thoughts on these guys and I’m speaking as an ex mobile disco/live band operator with some twenty years experience. But don’t take my word for it, the manager of the bar at our function said, “This is the best gig I’ve ever had the pleasure of working on, and I’ve see and suffered plenty in my time”. These guys play with a hundred years of experience and enthusiasm like it was their first gig, absolutely first class musicians and personalities to match, not just while performing but off-stage too. They did a fantastic job at my son’s wedding and exceeded everything we expected and hoped for. We are all so impressed I am changing the date and venue for my 50th birthday party so we can re-book them. One thing I would say guys, your sound track samples on the website do not do justice to your live performance… and a WARNING to potential customers… they will cost you a small fortune because like me, you’ll be looking for excuses to book them again… but it’ll still be worth every penny. Junxion is a top, professional function/party band based in London, UK. Junxion has provided top quality entertainment for audiences across the country. Junxion plays a colourful mixture of soul, disco, motown, rock, pop, and funk with soulful vocals backed by a funky, dynamic rhythm section resulting in an evening not to be missed!
Junxion Jazz - However, if you're looking for a more refined, sophisticated function Junxion can also provide an evening of swing, jazz, and latin standards perfect as either background music or as the evenings main entertainment.
Junxion are able to travel all across the UK and internationally.
Sets are normally two or three 45min sets or two one hour sets, however we are flexible and are happy to work with the client's timings. Background music is played during the breaks through our top quality PA system.

Gordon boasts a formidable musical background spanning over thirty years. He's worked with a staggering number of top players including Andy Powell (Wishbone Ash), Ed Poole (Sam Brown, Bonnie Tyler) and Ron Griffiths (Bad Finger) to name but a few.
If that was not enough Gordon also enjoyed a brief acting career! He can be seen performing 'Love is All Around' and other numbers in the first wedding scene of the smash hit British film " Four Weddings and a Funeral".
Gordon's strong vocals are one of the vital keys to the band's tremendous versatility. In addition, he also doubles as a second guitar sweetening the rhythm and lead sections.
Introducing Dave Groom on lead and rhythm guitar, Dave is a phenomenal talent who started song writing and recording at the tender age of 12 and has gone on to perform at many varied venues. Playing styles as diverse as funk, blues, soul, rock and pop, Dave is dedicated to producing articulate and faithful reproductions of the guitar parts he performs, and his tone has to be heard to be believed !!
A measure of Dave's talent is reflected in his recent work with the renowned annual charity rock event - Sergeant Peppers Rock Circus. Not only has Dave performed in many shows, he has also very successfully run the set as Musical Director.
Adding vocals to his array of skills Dave ensures that the harmonies sound better than ever, he also takes lead on a couple of songs. Well if you've got it flaunt it !!
Jason is a highly experienced and sought after drummer being taught for over six years by the esteemed drum tutor Bob Armstrong. (Bob also taught such greats as Steve White - The Style Council and Paul Weller's band, Phil Selway - Radio Head as well as many others!)
Jason has gained huge experience from playing Trad Jazz, Big Band Jazz, Be-Bop, Latin, Rock, Funk, Punk, Drum and Bass, Reggae and even classical. He's performed at dinner dances, awards ceremonies, club dates, pubs and out houses from Southampton to Scotland and across Europe.
Between Gravity gigs he somehow finds time to make regular appearances for Jazz sessions held at London's famous Jazz Cafe and Vortex club. Not only is he a phenomenal drummer he's also a pianist attaining a Grade eight in classical piano !
In addition to his percussive duties, Jason also provides vocal harmonies.
Dave West - Bass / Lead & Backing Vocals
A highly acclaimed bass player, Dave’s list of past bands reads like a Who’s Who of music, and can count among them such famous names as Wham, Hazel O’Conner, Q-Tips and Sam Fox, as well as the legendary James Brown Funky People!
A well-known figure on the Hertfordshire music scene, Dave has played all over the world, including New York and LA, and our own Wembley Arena and Hammersmith Apollo. He’s also played on various records as well as TV and radio commercials, but one of his proudest moments was to have played bass on a track for David Arnold, which ended up on the James Bond movie "Tomorrow never dies".
In addition to his solid bass playing, Dave is a fine vocalist and is featured singing lead on several numbers as well as providing an excellent third voice to the band’s strong harmonies

Kirstie - Musical Director / Keyboards / Vocals: After gaining her Honours Degree in Music Kirstie worked as a piano and keyboard instructor, recording session artist and performed with several professional bands as both lead female vocalist and keyboard player. Kirstie personally orchestrates and arranges the additional midi instrumentation (bass and drums) required for the 3 piece band’s performance. Her outstanding keyboard skills, rich, powerful, wide-ranging voice and lively stage presence adds a special quality to Pop of Ages that is unrivalled.
Dave - Guitars / Vocals / Sound Engineer: Dave has been playing in cover bands since the age of 18 and honed his skills at the Guitar Institute of Technology, London. He is a seasoned professional guitarist having played just about every type of contemporary music including Jazz, Soul, R & B, Country, Blues, Rock, Funk and Pop. His experience as a studio technician means the overall audio production quality of the band will be of the highest professional standard. As customer liaison, Dave will ensure your requirements are understood and fully met, and will personally deal with any queries you may have prior to and during your event.
Karen –Lead Vocals, Percussion: As the band's front singer, Karen has a wealth of experience as a professional vocalist. Formally a member of the highly acclaimed band ‘Capella’ for 7 years she worked all over the world at 5 star hotels in Dubai, the UAE and Cyprus as well as aboard the QE2. More recently she worked at Haven & Park Holiday resorts in the UK. Karen joined ‘Pop of Ages’ at the start of 2003 and provides an outstanding stage performance with excellent lead and harmony vocals.

Guitar and vocalist James Oneil started his career performing as a solo artist and achieved a major signing to record giant CBS. Having worked with many celebrities and appearing on programmes such as Top of the Pops and The Tube forms a solid basis to his ability. James is a published and accomplished songwriter and a exceptionally competent musician. Recently James has also taken the post of Director for UK Music Publishing Ltd.
Keyboards and backing vocals from Rob Arnall, an excellent player who's experience stems from performance and many sessions for artists such as Sting, Ruby Turner and Steve Winwood, Bjorn Again ,ensure a quality sound.
Rob also writes music for TV and has completed many productions including full length feature film sound tracks.
Breeze uses saxophone from Leigh Malin. Who has sessioned for artists and bands such as the Specials, Selector and The Beat two-tone revival. He offers a wealth of experience to provide an excellent addition to the music. Leigh received a grammy award for his participation in a recent Lee 'Scratch' Perry project. Leighs playing can be heard
on many media and TV productions worldwide.

Seven Caves are 5 individuals based across Northants/Bucks, who came together by chance rather than intention, approx 3 years ago… From day one there was a spark of excitement and expectation as to what the future might hold. As they began to create, their influences started to shine through the songs and while the list would be endless, there are a hardcore few that span the decades such as Who, Floyd, Beatles, Jam, Stone Roses and more recently people like Dogs, The Sunshine Underground… Over the last 2 years, the band have spent a lot of time creating a sound that is Seven Caves. During this time they have supported many signed bands, the most famous so far would probably be Editors… The feedback from the fans is first class and Seven Caves are now ready to take this show on the road in a big way! If you haven’t seen this band live, then you should! No CD will ever do this band justice… They are passionate… More than that, they are real and they will be in a town near you soon! Get ready…

YOUNG GUNS: are a professional, highly polished outfit based in Leicester. They have been performing since 1995, entertaining audiences around the world and throughout the U.K, playing all the major hits from the 60`s 70`s 80`s and the 90`s to modern day.
YOUNG GUNS: started life as a Wham Tribute band, and as supported famous acts such as The Lightening seeds, Ocean Colour Scene, Bjorn again, Uncle peter from Reeves and Mortimer fame, and Radio 1`s Mark goodier.and also supported 60`s legends Dozy, Beaky, Mick, and Titch on a seven week winter season at Butlins and recently worked with Azwad and The Beat at Butlins. More recently worked with Victoria Wood and performed for Johnny Vegas, Una Stubbs, and Sir Derek Jacobi, also just performed with Shane Ritchie and for the Nolan sisters Colleen from loose women at their sons 18th birthday party.

Soul'd Up
Based in London, we are the UK’s premier Soul based function and party band. We play an unrivalled mix of Soul, Funk & Disco favourites from the 60s through to the 2000s and are available for hire throughout the UK at corporate functions, private parties, weddings, pubs, clubs and Universities.
We appear in a variety of line-ups from a compact yet powerful 5 piece with multi-keyboards and backing vocals up to a 9 piece with full brass section. Whatever your needs, we can provide a big Soul sound suitable for any event or venue, however large or small. We come complete with PA and light show appropriate to the venue and your needs.
All our performances are 100% live guaranteed with no backing tracks used.
We also work with a number of DJs who you can book with us for the ultimate party night experience, or we are happy to play alongside any other acts you may choose to book for your event.

Ska Trek is between 8 - 12 piece Ska Covers band, playing covers from Madness, The Specials, and Bad Manners etc.
Ska Trek are well suited to Larger pubs, Working Men's Clubs, etc., and pretty much at any event or party.
